In English; you is used for both plural
and singular. In Greek; there are
separate words for you: singular
forms; and plural forms.
That has caused confusion.
Some may think the problem has
been cured by the use of the word
"ye" taken to mean “you” plural; in
the Greek. That is not true.
In the Kjv.1611 New Testament;
and the entire New Testament
Textus Receptus; where the Kjv.1611
is taken from; there are many
instances where the word you in the
Greek plural form; has been translated
into English as you and not “ye.“
When you see the word you in
The
Masters’ Edition;
you decide for
yourself; hopefully Within Holy Spirit;
if what JESUS
says includes you;
or if what JESUS
says does not
include you.
